Found in 1994, by Mr and Mrs Chae, the hospital was built to provide the disctrict and the city which has stayed without a hospital for too long, and so getting funding from the main family of The Chae household, Severance Hospital was founded and has been dedicated to delivering the safest, most effective and compassionate care to all its patients. Now the hospital opens his doors all the way in space in an attempt to help save people across the universe.

CEO and Head Surgeon Chae Hyungwon is the son of the founders of the hospitals, he studied at Yonsei University College of Medicine and graduated with honours, he is recognized by many in the field as an excellent surgeon and a great person.
